Caring for your board
Your board is made from one solid piece of camphor laurel timber, finished with food-safe grapeseed oil. Look after it and it will last for years. A care card goes in every box.
Do
- Wash it by hand with warm water and a little soap.
- Dry it straight away with a tea towel.
- Stand it up to finish drying, so air gets to both sides.
- Rub in a little food-safe oil every few weeks, or when it looks dry.
Don't
- Put it in the dishwasher.
- Leave it soaking in water.
- Leave it in the sun or near the stove.
Good to know
The same care goes for our coasters and condiment bowls.
Wood is natural, so small changes in colour and small knife marks are normal. They're a sign your board is being used and loved.
