Making it theirs
What can I engrave?
On the front: your client's name or family name, a date (like their settlement date) or a short message. On the back: your logo, for $10 more.
Where does it go?
In the middle, on the side or along the bottom of the board. You choose.
Where does my logo go?
On the back of the board, for $10 more. Your client's name always goes on the front.
Which pieces can be engraved?
Boards, condiment bowls, coasters and hip flasks. In every set the board is engraved, plus the bowls, coasters and hip flask whenever the set includes them.
What fits on bowls, coasters and hip flasks?
A date, their surname or their initials. If it doesn't fit, we'll contact you before we engrave.
How long can it be?
Up to 100 characters, over one or two lines.
Can I pick the font?
Yes. You can pick the font for both lines, top and bottom.
Can I add a picture or drawing?
No. We engrave words and business logos only.
What logo file do you need?
Having the right logo file makes all the difference. For engraving, we need a vector file, like an SVG, AI, EPS or high-res PDF. These files let us size your logo to fit the board perfectly, keeping every line sharp and every detail clear. Pixel-based files like JPGs and PNGs, and many logos made with AI tools, lose quality when they're resized, so they can engrave blurry or patchy. Only have one of those? Email it to hello@bubblee.com.au and we'll try to help. A small fee may apply, and we'll always tell you the price before we start.
Will I see a proof?
Online orders show a preview on the product page. Quote orders get a free mockup before we start.
Who checks the spelling?
You do. We engrave exactly what you type, including capitals and punctuation, so please check every name carefully.
Is engraving included?
Their name on the front is part of the price. Adding your logo to the back is $10 more.

Ordering for your business
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order one gift or one hundred.
Can we see it before we pay?
Yes. For quote orders, send us your names and logo and we'll come back within 2 business days with a free mockup of your engraved gift. Nothing is made, and you don't pay a cent, until you're happy with it. Ordering online? The preview on the product page shows you how it will look.
How do I get a price for a big order?
Email hello@bubblee.com.au or fill in the quote form. Every bigger order gets its own quote.
How long do bigger orders take?
Once you've approved the mockup and paid the invoice, we engrave and send most orders within 1 to 2 business days. For a big order or a tight date, tell us your numbers early and we'll let you know when we can have everything ready.
Can you send gifts straight to my clients?
Yes. We post each gift to them with a handwritten card from you, and no receipt or price.
Can you deliver to lots of different addresses?
Yes. We send Australia-wide, either all to one address or straight to each client's door. Just send us your list. Delivery is worked out for your order and added to your quote.
Can you send a GST tax invoice and invoice our business?
Yes. Every order comes with a GST tax invoice by email. Quote orders are invoiced straight to your business, and we're happy to work with your accounts team or purchase order process.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Once we start making it, we can't. If a settlement moves or a name changes, email us straight away and we'll help if we can.
Engraving
Can you engrave our logo?
Yes. We laser engrave your logo straight into the camphor laurel, so it's burned into the grain, not printed or stuck on. It goes on the back of the board, with your client's name on the front, for $10 more. Quote orders get a mockup before we start.
Is engraving included?
Their name on the front is part of the price. Adding your logo to the back is $10 more.
Can I choose where the name goes and the font?
Yes. Pick the middle, side or bottom of the board, and a font for each line.
Will I see it before you engrave?
Online orders show a preview. Quote orders get a free mockup to approve.
What if a name is spelled wrong?
We engrave exactly what you give us, so please check every name carefully.
The gift
Does it come gift wrapped?
Yes. Every gift comes in a black gift box with a handwritten card, included in the price.
Will it look like the photo?
Very close. Every board is real timber, so the grain and colour are a little different each time.
Is the board safe for food?
Yes. It's finished with food-safe grapeseed oil.
Is there a sustainability story we can share?
Yes. Our boards are made from camphor laurel, a tree first planted in Australia for shade that has since become an invasive weed. Using it gives the timber a second life instead of letting it go to waste. Each board is cut from a single piece of Queensland camphor laurel, then engraved and finished with food-safe grapeseed oil in our Sydney workshop.
Delivery
How long does it take?
We send it within 1 to 2 business days, and most gifts arrive 3 to 5 business days after that.
How far ahead should I order for a settlement?
At least 10 business days before the date.
Do you deliver to remote areas or overseas?
We deliver anywhere in Australia, including country and remote areas, though these can take a little longer. We don't ship overseas yet.
Returns
Can I return an order?
Unused, unengraved items can be returned within 14 days. Engraved gifts can't be returned for a change of mind.
What if a gift arrives damaged?
Email us within 7 days with photos, and we'll make it right.
